Casa Chicob Company Information
Casa Chicob is a resource for Latin American items, includng new, old, and reproductions. We began traveling through Latin America in 1992 and over the years we have expanded, and now specialize mainly in home accessories.
Most of the items found are unique -- no two pieces are alike. Weathered woods, layers of paint, cracks and chips, and recycled and reused materials are all an integral part of the look. Our pieces often serve as conversation pieces due to their unique characeteristics. Because of the uniqueness of the products, we suggest that you visit our site periodically to check out our new finds.
Enjoy our travels.

People often ask what the word "Chicob" means. In Cachiquel, one of the Mayan dialects, Chicob means bird. This image was taken from a glyph found in one of the Mayan codex symbolizing "the seven sacred lives".
